My name is A. Th. It was the first time I was treating an acute tonsillitis homeopathically, and I witnessed a small miracle!
Since childhood I had often had tonsillitis, which I treated with antibiotics. I had just started homeopathic treatment at the Hippocratic Centre of Classical Homeopathy with Mr Stouraitis when my familiar tonsillitis struck again. Within two days I had a fever of 39.5 and tonsils so swollen, like walnuts, that I could not swallow, let alone breathe. During those two days my homeopath gave me some remedies over the phone, but without result. Disappointed, I decided that the time had come to take antibiotics as in the past, and I called Mr Stouraitis to let him know. He would not give in: he came to my home to see me and gave me a capsule. It was 9 o’clock in the evening, and he told me he would come back at 11, which he did. As soon as he arrived we looked at my tonsils in the mirror, and instead of “walnuts” we saw “almonds”. I could swallow my saliva and I felt a little better. He told me that by the next morning I would have nothing. And indeed, the next day I had no fever, no pain, normal tonsils and I felt better physically. A small miracle had happened! Six years have passed since then, during which I have followed homeopathy, and my tonsils have not troubled me again.
